Spring McKee, Veterinarian/Owner:
Dr. Spring L. McKee is originally from Wyoming, and wanted to be a veterinarian since she was a small child. She attended the University of Wyoming and the College of Veterinary Medicine at Colorado State University.
She graduated with her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine in 1996 and immediately moved to the Polson area, where she has since been in private practice. She has two small children, Mesa and Aspen, a husband, James, and numerous horses, dogs and cats.
Taking care of Mesa and Aspen occupies much of Spring’s free time these days, but she also enjoys riding her horses, sewing, spending time with her husband and indulging her artistic talents.
James McKee, Owner:
James McKee is originally from Wyoming. After meeting Spring at the University of Wyoming, they married in the summer of 1992. Besides participating in the management of VetCare Montana, James also teaches high school math at Polson High School. He and Spring have two small children, Mesa and Aspen, that occupy much of their free time. He also enjoys hunting, golfing and woodworking.
Flo Haninger, Receptionist:
Flo moved to the Polson area in 1992 from California with her husband, Fritz. With previous management experience in the S&L industry in California, Flo brings a wealth of knowledge of personnel issues and customer relations. She enjoys scrapbooking, making soaps and lotions, creative writing, cooking and bird-watching.
Rachel Thorpe, Veterinary Technician.
Rachel
grew up here in Montana in Three Forks and Whitefish.
After attending some college in Bozeman, she is
wrapping up her Associates of Applied Science in
Veterinary Technology at the College of Southern Idaho
in Twin Falls. In her spare time Rachel likes to ride
horses, read, hike with her two dogs, and watch
movies.

Melanie Beckman, Veterinary
Assistant:
Melanie is from Anchorage Alaska. She got her degree
in Equine Science from the University of Minnesota.
She and her husband Brian live in Mission, along
with their two dogs Shooter and Brandy, and a number
of horses and chickens. Melanie is a talented
photographer, and enjoys riding horses and playing
guitar.
Kim
Kendall, Veterinary Technician
Kim is from Navato, California. She obtained her
Associate’s in Applied Science from Murray State
College in Tishomingo, Oklahoma. She has recently
moved to Montana to be near her family. She and her
husband Eric have 3 children: Tyler, Nikki, and
Ryan. When she’s not at work, Kim enjoys riding
horses, scrapbooking and raising her children.
